Master of Art in Interdisciplinary Studies

When starting a Masters of Arts in 2015 I had a vague idea that I wanted to understand institutional approaches to death care.  My studies have permitted in-depth exploration not only into our linguistic limitations surrounding death but also an understanding of the emerging role of death doula, a role which continues to challenge how we address dying in facilities and in society at large.

A selection of research papers with an end-of-life care focus. Practical, applied knowledge-to-praxis is a common theme.

Augmented Reality

The iPhone legacy

As mentioned in my blog, examining a random 100 photos in my iPhone memory allowed for a rich exploration into my life - my motivations, thoughts, mistakes, practicals task and much more.  This practice became a method in which I could understand myself and see how, in a way, this could become a legacy project for others to understand me also.
